Beauty Products I am Loving Right Now

Hello, everyone! I hope each and every one of you are having a wonderful day or week!

It has been a couple of posts since I have written anything beauty related. Beauty is something that I want to make a main component on my blog, hopefully these types of posts can be a reoccurring post.

OriginsChecks and Balances Frothy Face Wash ($23) I have heard so many good things about the brand Origins but never really tried it. My good friend Taylor gave me a travel size of this face wash and oh my goodness I think I have found a holy grail. I have had this travel face wash for about a month and it has lasted me a good while. Only a small amount is needed to get frothy. The smell, to me, is a minty, clean smell. The wash itself is cleansing and does not seem to burn or make my skin feel sticky. I have not broken out or have had red skin from this. (I have had problems like this with other face washes in the past) I will definitely be purchasing the full size soon!

Weekly Playlist #2 (July 16)

Hello, everyone! Hope your week has gone well!

This week's playlist is going to feature a lot of oldies!

1. The Weather Girls - It's Raining Men
I have not heard this song for a long time until I heard it in one of Alfie Deyes's vlogs where him, Zoe, Poppy, Sean, and Mark go to see a show and it was amazingly awesome.

2. Ella Fitzgerald - It's Only A Paper Moon
Ella's voice is just amazing.

3. Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf
Does anyone remember that movie Big Fat Liar with Frankie Muniz and Amanda Bynes? I watched it the other day and this song was featured. I have not stopped listening to it since.

4. Berlin - Take My Breath Away
Top Gun.

5. Amy Winehouse - Back To Black
I have been listening to a lot of Amy Winehouse lately, I miss her voice.

Weekly Playlist #1 (June 18)

Hello, everyone. I have decided to create a weekly playlist - omg!
These playlists are going to include a range of genres and I do listen to different genres. These are songs that I listen to and that I love! If you have any suggestions whatsoever, please let me know! I am always interested in finding new music!

1. Ariana Grande - One Last Time
I have always loved this song but it became a new meaning. It is something that I have found myself picking this song to listen to why I sit down to write posts.

2. Oasis - Don't Look Back In Anger
Before this song, the only song I knew by Oasis was 'Wonderwall'. I heard this song while watching the One Love Manchester benefit concert and I learned the words immediately. I can not get this song out of my head most of the time.

3. Harry Styles - Sign of the Times
This song has picked me up so much! I love Harry. I love the song. I love the music video.

4. Coldplay - The Scientist
This song is one that is on my calm playlist. I tend t…

19 Things I Learned at 19

Hello everyone! Hope your day is well! I have decided to write this post as a reflection. I am deeply saddened by the attack at Manchester Arena. My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with every single person involved in that attack.

I decided to write this because since seeing what has happened on TV and on social media, it has made me think about the things I have learned at 19 years old.

1. Always carry money. (You never know what you will use it for.)
2. Use your camera. (Whether on your phone or an actual camera, take pictures of everything. They are precious memories.)
3. Answer your phone when you're parents call. (They just want to see what you are doing, if you are okay, or if you need anything. Don't hate them for doing this, they are the reason you are here today.)
4. Open your mind. (Open your mind to new things, you never know, you may like those new things.)
5. Open your hands. (Open your hands. Someone may need help getting up.)
6. Take a stand. (Be gentle, but lo…

Brows on brows

Image
Hello, everyone! I am writing about different brow products that I have used and what I have thought about them. I have dark brows and so I try different dark colors until I find one that is closest to my eyebrow color.

1. NYX Tinted Brow Mascara  I actually received these from Christmas and I was really excited when I tried them out. I used the shade "espresso" which is a deep brown color. This brow mascara tamed my brows and left them tinted without looking like they were overdrawn. When I eventually ran out, I bought more at Ulta and this brow mascara is very affordable.
2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz  I bought this product when during Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty when at K's wedding. I love this product, it is creamy and smooth. It does not clump. I did buy the wrong color, I needed something darker. I bought "Chocolate" the first time. I purchased it for $10 but the regular price is $24.
These are my favorite brow products that I tend to go towards…
